Jeffrey Shifflett, Jr.


I was very lucky to be raised on "The Ranch".  I could often be found running around barefoot and trying to drive tractors.  Now, I'm able to do the same thing but as the 4th generation farmer of our family's property and in boots no less.  After High School, I left quiet St. Helena for Colorado where I studied water management at CU Boulder, a crucial expertise in today's farming business.

After a snowy graduation I headed to the Southern Hemisphere to work a harvest in Australia learning both farming and winemaking first hand.  Returning home, I've had amazing opportunities working with and for some of the best producers in the Napa Valley over the past 10 years.  These experiences and opportunities lead me to blend traditional farming and winemaking techniques with cutting edge technology to make the best wines possible.  An attention to detail and steady handed approach will no doubt leave a legacy to be proud of for the next generation.
